LIFE DIGEST: More than 700 babies saved in 40 Days: As of April 3, 40 Days leaders had received reports of 718 babies rescued in the latest event. The reported number of babies saved likely will increase as more reports come in. The effort, which began in Texas in 2004 and went national in 2007, has received reports of more than 5,700 unborn lives saved as a result of its campaigns.
