Death of IndyCar Driver Dan Wheldon Reflects the Sport’s Lack of Respect for Life :Operation Rescue: "As I followed race after race this year it became more than apparent that the safety of the drivers was not the first concern of IndyCar officials."

Editor: Yes, it is a shame that the love of money overcame respect for human life, but no one was forcing drivers 29-34 to race. They had a choice about whether to race or not. If they had misgivings and still raced, what does that say about their personal values?
