Idaho moves to ban abortions after 20 weeks

Idaho moves to ban abortions after 20 weeks - Spokesman.com - March 23, 2011: The Idaho Senate has voted 24-10 in favor of banning abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy on grounds of fetal pain, despite an attorney general’s opinion warning that the bill is likely unconstitutional. The bill makes no exceptions for cases of rape, incest, or severe fetal abnormalities, nor would it permit consideration of the mother’s mental or psychological health; it would allow post-20 weeks abortions only to save the mother’s life or physical health.
