Care Net | Oasis of Hope in No-man's-Land: Forbes magazine called Detroit “America’s Most Murderous City.” Pastor Claude Allen May of Detroit’s Oasis of Hope Christian Church couldn’t agree more.
“You hear about Detroit murders,” says this concerned church leader. “But there is a greater violence taking place against those who cannot speak for themselves.” He’s talking about aborting innocent children. His church is focused on providing help for the underserved in their community. So when the need for a pregnancy center came up, May responded, “We have to do this.”
