Abortion in the Holy Land

Israel had 150,000 live births in 2010 and an estimated 50,000 abortions – one in four babies aborted. Very few Israelis know the severity of the abortion issue here. Most people assume that abortions are done only in extreme cases involving young girls, handicapped babies or rape, but actually 42% of abortions are done by married couples.
