A group of black pastors in Delaware joined several pro-life groups on Tuesday in calling for both a state and federal investigation of the Delaware abortion provider that employed a West Philadelphia doctor who is facing homicide charges. The group called on the state to require abortion clinics to be held to the same regulatory standards as surgical centers. Currently, according to state officials, abortion clinics in Delaware are not regularly inspected for safety or sanitary conditions.
"To safeguard women in our community, we seek action from law enforcement in Delaware," wrote the pastors, including the Rev. Christopher Bullock of Canaan Baptist Church, Apostle J.T. Graham of Temple United Church, the Rev. Clifford Johnson of Shiloh Baptist Church, the Rev. Aaron Moore of Manna Christian Fellowship Church, Bishop Aretha Morton of Tabernacle Full Gospel Baptist Cathedral and the Rev. Lorraine Dryden of Spirit of Life Lutheran Church. Delaware Online
